Yeahh..here i want to share with u how to improve pc performance ( Tips and Trick ) using windows XP operating system. No need to upgrade your hardware like memory or precessor. Use your current pc only...try and told me what u get.

SPEED UP YOUR BOOT SCREEN

To boot (as a verb; also "to boot up") a computer is to load an operating system into the computer's main memory or random access memory (RAM). Once the operating system is loaded (and, for example, on a PC, you see the initial Windows or Mac desktop screen), it's ready for users to run applications. Sometimes you'll see an instruction to "reboot" the operating system. This simply means to reload the operating system (the most familiar way to do this on PCs is pressing the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time).

Booting or loading an operating system is different than installing it, which is generally an initial one-time activity. (Those who buy a computer with an operating system already installed don't have to worry about that.) When you install the operating system, you may be asked to identify certain options or configuration choices. At the end of installation, your operating system is on your hard disk ready to be booted (loaded) into random access memory, the computer storage that is closer to the microprocessor and faster to work with than the hard disk. Typically, when an operating system is installed, it is set up so that when you turn the computer on, the system is automatically booted as well. If you run out of storage (memory) or the operating system or an application program encounters an error, you may get an error message or your screen may "freeze" (you can't do anything). In these events, you may have to reboot the operating system.

Waaaaaaaaahh!! i don`t want u to know what is boot? how booting works? huh!!suck! but i really want u know how to speed up your current boot screen..now learn and try..

• Go to " Start " and open " Run ".
• In the text box, type the name "regedit". Then click ok.
• In Registry Editor go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet -Control - Session Manager - Memory Management - PrefetchParameters.
• From the right panel, double click file name ' EnablePrefetcher '.
• Change the value data in the text box into " 0 ". Then click ok.
• Close and Restart your pc.

Now u see how long the boot screen, take your time before login to windows. Compare it before and after u do that. But, before u restart make sure to defrag your disk to take more effect.

* Warning!! to change other file on registry editor setting, make sure u know the function.

SPEED UP YOUR MENU SHOW DELAY

Create a new string value, or modify the existing value, named 'MenuShowDelay' and set it to equal the delay you would like before the menus are shown as a time in milliseconds.

• Go to " Start " and open " Run ".
• In the text box, type the name " regedit ". Then click ok.
• In Registry Editor go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Control Panel - Desktop .
• From the right panel, double click file name " MenuShowDelay " . Then Click ok.
• Close and Restart your PC.

Now u can see the effect. On the taskbar, click the start button - all programs . U see that the popup menu show delay more faster than before.

STOP ERROR MESSAGES WHEN BOOTING

• Go to " Start " and open " Run "
• In the text box, type the name " regedit ". Then click ok.
• In Registry Editor go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet - Control - Windows.
• From the right panel, Create a REG_DWORD value of 'NoPopupsOnBoot' in the key below (if it doesn't already exist). Set the value to '1' to disable pop-up messages from appearing.
• Close and restart your pc.
